Celery seed has been used extensively in Indian Ayurvedic Medicine for many different reasons.  Celery seeds contain several substances including volatile oils, flavonoids, coumarins and Linoleic Acid. The Montmorency Cherry is a variety of sour cherry grown in Canada, France and the US.  Since the early 21st Century there has been a great deal of interest in Montmorency Cherry and a number of reports on its purported health benefits have prompted research into its actions in the human body. Burdock is familiar to many of us as an ingredient in the  soft drink ‘Dandelion & Burdock’, which has been a popular beverage since Mediaeval times and also has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine. Nettle is a well-known plant seen in many woodlands and Hedgerows.  It is used in cooking to make Nettle Soups and is available as a herbal tea.
